Climate change affects the weather in many ways. First of all, storms and hurricanes will become much stronger, leading to an increase in damage to buildings, especially those close to shore. There will also be drier climates and more droughts in some locations, causing the migration or extinction of many species who live there. In order to prevent severe damage to the Earth's ecosystems which support organisms necessary to our survival as humans, we must slow the rate of climate change before it is too late.
